ALDS Game One: Tigers Vs. Yankees Redux

by

Game One of the ALDS was suspended in the middle of the second inning last night due to heavy rain. Jorge Posada will lead off for the Yankees in the bottom of the second with the score knotted up at one a piece. While fans were only treated to less than 30 pitches from aces Justin Verlander and C.C. Sabathia, tonight’s game will resume with another great pitching match-up. Red-hot Doug Fister (11-13, 2.83 ERA) will take the hill for the Tigers. Fister has not lost nor allowed more than one earned run in his last eight starts. They Yankees will counter with Rookie sensation Ivan Nova (16-4, 3.70 ERA). Check out how many Earned Runs each pitchers has allowed per week this season.

With a low chance of precipitation, baseball fans shall be treated to some great October ball at Yankees Stadium this evening.
