Red Birds Brewing

by

The Cardinal’s three-time NL MVP, Carlos Pujols, was struck by and high and tight pitch from Brewers pitcher Takashi Saito in the 7th inning of last nights game.  Jason Motte retailed in the next frame by plunking Milwaukee’s Ryan Baum in the back with a fast ball.  St Louis won the game in the 11th inning off of a Lance Berkman RBI single.  This afternoon is the rubber match between these two NL Central foes as the first place Brewers sit 2.5 games above the Cardinals.  Check out how productive the St Louis and Milwaukee offenses have been against each other so far this season.

See who has the more high powered offense.

Milwaukee is 5-3 against St Louis in 2011.  Will another batch of bad blood be brewed this afternoon?
