Talent Stands Out

Clayton Kershaw of the Dodgers is  most famously known for his curveball (referred to as “Public Enemy Number One” by Vince Scully). Although mostly relying on his sliders and change-ups this season, the pitcher continues to stand out amongst his peers. Kershaw has gone 9-1 since May and has an ERA of 2.72 this season. The lefty is currently in the race for the CY Young award and although the Dodgers may not be in the running for playoffs, Kershaw continues to pitch remarkably well. Take a look at how well he’s pitching compared to other Dodger pitchers.

In baseball history, there has never been a 23-year-old who has put up such good numbers.
