Not to Worry…The Sun Still (Partially) Shines in LA

by

With close to 100 True Blue Dodger fans protesting the misuse and abuse of their team outside the stadium, inside the stadium the Dodgers achieved their third consecutive shutout during last Saturday’s game against the Padres. This is the first time the Dodgers have had three consecutive shutouts since 1991. Interestingly, the Dodgers haven’t lost a game since shortstop Jamey Carroll called a players-only meeting a week ago; the Dodgers are currently in fourth in the NL West. So what was said in the meeting??? My guess is that it involved a baseball bat, a pinata, and a picture of someone’s face. Let’s see how the Dodgers continue to play after the All-Star break.

Dodgers play the Diamondbacks tonight and tomorrow.. Looks like Dodgers are leaving lots or hitters on base and lack in home run production compared to Arizona.
