Welcome to the Big Leagues, Kid!

Mike Trout, one of the top prospects of the Major Leagues, was called up from Double-A to the major leagues on Thursday. The Anaheim Angels’ 19-year-old addition is now the youngest player in the Major Leagues. In Double-A, he hit .324 and boasted an on-base-slugging percentage of .950. So does the kid have what it takes to make it in the Big Leagues? Yesterday, there were no fireworks from Mike, but we will have to give him a few games to see if he lives up to the hype.

Follow Mike Trout and see if he can translate is slugging power to the big leagues!
