And Rounding Third in the Final Vote…

With the All-Star game fast approaching, one spot is still open on the National League team. In the lead is the Phillies’ Shane Victorino followed by Andre Ethier of the Dodgers, Todd Helton of the Rockies, Michael Morse of the Nationals, and Ian Kennedy of the Diamondbacks.  In my opinion, this final vote belongs to Ethier. Not only does Ethier has the strongest batting average of the five players, but he outperformed them the first half of this season with his  stellar 30 game hitting streak, and the 8th highest batting average in all of baseball.

Who do you think should get the remaining spot? Check out this dashboard to see how other candidates stack up within their respective leagues.
