Play (Interleague) Ball!!!

June 24th started the beginning of interleague play. Let’s take a look at a few of the match ups for today:

The 2010 World Series champs, the San Francisco Giants, are taking on the Cleveland Indians. Both teams have a winning percentage of over .500. Probable pitchers for the game include Fausto Carmona for the Indians who is 4 and 9 and Madison Bumgarner for the Giants who is 3 and 9. Who will come out on top in today’s match up?

Another match up for today is the Chicago Cubs and the Kansas City Royals. What do these two teams have in common? Both have a winning percentage of under .500. Probable pitcher, Randy Wells, for the Cubs is 1 and 1 and pitcher, Luke Hochevar, for the Royals is 4 and 8. Which of these struggling teams will come out on top in today’s Interleague play?
